Pic of the Day Guidelines and Submission Information
So you want to submit a picture of the day...excellent, but first, some rules about submissions:
No nudity or pornographic material
GameSpy isn't an X-rated site just yet, so no "21 or older" stuff. Same thing
goes for innuendo and suggestive positions.
No profanity
See above. Society may not have made up its mind, but we're playing it safe.
If it's how many LAMs you can spawn before the game crashes, we've seen it.
It's amusing, yes, but a little bit cliché. Try to be original, and check the
POTD archive to make sure you aren't submitting something
we already have.
Clean the image up: JPEG images only, make sure the gamma and contrast are correctly adjusted
This is saves quite a bit of time when processing the files. Please, for the
sake of your tired, overworked web monkeys, do the image editing for us!
Keep the resolution sensible: over 640x480, and under 1600x1200.
We want the pic to be as accessible as possible, so keep in mind that not everyone
can afford a 32-inch flatscreen LCD moniter for their system.
Please be patient!
There are many POTD submissions, so it may be some time before your submission is used.
Resubmitting will only cause needless confusion, so unless please do not resubmit unless requested to do so.

name you would like to be credited with in the description on the main page. We'll
take it from there.
