Utilizing mission scripts, DDL has managed to vanquish all binstanthit weapons in inventories. There are still a few cats to skin, however. Through various conversations throughout the game, you receive weapons, and those weapons cannot be replaced with this code. Nor can weapons that are stored in containers or carcasses. On the plus side, new weapons are being fashioned to replace the old in more ways than just the binstant hit. Very nice little effect. I've changed the link on our page to hit the exact Chronos ModDB page, so if you were frustrated before, please give her another whirl. I'm now working on two things. Altering the original maps of DX to fit the new theme, and writing my novel, which is around 40,000 words at the moment and is being "debugged" by friends. Cripe, I'm a geek. If anyone is interested in hearing more about the book, please drop me a line. It's a meld of sci-fi and fantasy, but unlike others of the genre (ie Star Wars) it's not futuristic. Which is not to say it's not in the future. *Cough* Alright. Have a day.

John (Dr. Dumb Lunatic) has just "joined" the team. He's been helping me a lot at the DXE forums and so I offered this option up instead, which he gladly accepted.
As a tribute to his inauguration into the project, he's punched out a mission script that will finally fix the weapons problem that I've been having. I'll shovel out the next coding task he can handle (at his leisure) whilst I will now begin altering aesthetics of the default maps.
Which means? Which means Phase II won't be far off. Also, have a look, we're on ModDatabase. Well, the account's pending, but we'll be on. Right then, I'm done with this post.

With the help of some knowledgeable boys at www.dxediting.com, namely The Sheep, I've been able to spruce up the code that mutates npc's, decorations, items, etc. in a much more efficient fashion. To top this off, they've also helped me to code the Chronos aug so that the player has it by default.
Projectiles are still a bit of an issue as well as mysterious triggers that alter the aug's effect. Most issues are being dealt with. I should smile. Really, I should.
Anyway, I've also taken screenshots in the limited amount of time I've had recently. Have a look at the media section.
