English Multiplayer & Singleplayer Patch 1112fm [USA/UK] (added 4/26/01)
This patch includes Multiplayer support, including DeathMatch and Team DeathMatch, 5 new multiplayer maps, Built in search engine for multiplayer servers, and Single player and multiplayer bug fixes. Please note that this is the second official multiplayer patch released, the first one being version 1109fm. Version 1112fm matches the version of the Game of the Year edition, so if you have purchased this then you don't need any patches.
The multiplayer patch can be installed over any previous version of
the game. If you had already installed the official 1109fm multiplayer
patch, then you can download this
smaller upgrade patch (you have to be up to version 1112fm in
order to connect to servers). If you have only installed the original
beta version of the multiplayer patch, we strongly recommend that
you install the new, final version. This patch includes some important
bug fixes and you’ll need it to connect to multiplayer servers. Note
that there are many reported problems with the singeplayer game after
installing the multiplayer patch, so use this
patch instead if you want to play singleplayer.

Other then being applicable to the German version of the game, this
patch is identical to the English version:
This patch includes Multiplayer support, including DeathMatch and

In fact, the patches are designed so you CAN’T install the single player patch over a multiplayer patch. Added OpenGL rendering support, misc bugfixes, and misc performance improvements.

Mac Patch 1.0.3 (added 08/21/2001)
This patch brings Mac Deus Ex installations up to version 1.0.3, compatible
with the 1112fm (latest) patch on the PC side. Adds multiplayer, five
multiplayer maps, and a bunch of hardware and single-player fixes,
as well as fixing an issue with Nvidia cards and adding EAX support
to the game.
German Demo Patch
This unofficial file makes the Deus Ex Demo playable on German PCs.
