Submitting Your Files
What fun is it to create some sort of modification without making it available for people to download and enjoy? The following steps show you how to best make use of GameSpy Networks' FilePlanet, a resource that aims to provide all files for all games.
To begin with, you should upload the file to one of several locations
(your own ISP space, GeoCities,
Angelfire, etc).
In a pinch, you can of course e-mail the file directly to Despot,
and he'll upload it to a temporary location and give you an URL. This
offer only stands until people start making a LOT of stuff :)
Once you get that URL, head on over to FilePlanet's Submit Page. There you'll see several fields that allow you to give different descriptions (short and long), titles, author name, contact info, and much more. Use your download URL in the first line, fill out the rest (it'll all make sense when you look at the page), and select the RPG/Deus Ex/Modifications/ section. Click SUBMIT, and you should be mirrored and ready to go in a day or so!
