AUSTIN, TX -

Demolition Derby at ION Storm - Austin

Junior ION Storm - Austin Game Designer, Jeremy Graves, attempted career suicide late Tuesday morning in Austin, Texas, an onlooker reported. Graves, a relatively new employee assigned to map creation on the upcoming software title "Thief 3," took his career in his hands when he careened out of his parking place on the 2nd floor of the Humana office building parking garage, slamming into the BMW M3 of legendary game designer, automotive enthusiast, and corporate tyrant, Warren Spector. Spector, the Executive Producer at ION Storm - Austin, is the only person in the facility with absolute hire/fire authority.

The accident caused a huge gash in the side of Spector's beloved BMW (see photo) and very nearly put an end to Graves' burgeoning career as a game designer at the foremost developer of 1st-person immersive simulation games.

An onlooker who wished to remain anonymous said, "40 of these people drive to work and park in this garage and he picks Warren's car to smash into. Hehee!"

The company as a whole, discovered the incident when Graves sent out a company-wide email, asking, "...anybody know who drives a black BMW with skinny tires?"

Neither Graves nor Spector could be reached for further comment, but the situation may have been de-fused by the adoption of the nickname "Crash" by Graves. With damage estimated in the dozens of dollars, Graves expects to work essentially for free for the remainder of the project.....
