Commentary

Gwog: Well, first off it's good to see that most people felt that this very important part of the game was just fine. I myself at first thought it was a little cheap, but later on when I replayed the game as a non-sneaker, I realized that the power of Deus Ex even comes through in regards to air ducts. You see, if you don't want to, you never have to even use one. I think a lot of people fall into the trap of automatically playing through the game as a sneaky person, but if you fight this and force yourself to play as a GEP h00r RoboCop, you'll see how different things work out.

Despot: To be perfectly dishonest with you, air ducts give me the creeps. I mean, it ain't natural how they're always there, just when you need them. Alex sez: "Look for an airduct!" and then you find an airduct! How do we escape prison? Airducts! You're trying to get out of the MJ12 base. Airducts to the rescue! Is that freaky or what?! It's almost like they have a mind of their own...like they were...sentient. *freaks out* THE AIRDUCTS ARE COMING! THE AIRDUCTS ARE COMING FOR US ALL!!
