Weapons! Without which our primary means of interaction with virtual
worlds would be lost. They come in all shapes and sizes, though, which
means peferences happen. The preferences have been recorded in the
results that follow.

Commentary
Despot: Interesting how the large majority favors the rifle
weapons. You'd think that in a game as diverse as Deus Ex that the
weapons preference would be pretty evenly distributed, but apparently
that's not the case. Perhaps it's a preference that's learned from
so-called standard FPS games.
Kaigen: Bah! Sniper Rifles are for cowards and people with
out bladder control! Sadly I must fall into those categories as I
found myself using the sniper more than anything else. But just note
that real men use knives... maybe the blue fairy can make me a real
man too! Then Geppet - er, Momm - er, Despot would love me again!
TheRenegadeMaster: Cmon! the banana in the pocket was temptating...CMON...doesnt
it sound good? ;) But yes, rifles won, good... Rifles seem to be more
powerfull in the long run... but like all weapons, they all have advantages
and disadvantages...I was surprised that low tech tied with pistol
and didnt come first, since everytime i play DXMP i see a lot of knives
being thrown around, i have to concentrate on dodging than attacking
=) And I wasn't surprised that Demo and heavy came last, pesky little
phsyco projectiles in dxmp...if i see one more of those in anyones
hands...watch out! i hate them! /me hides the gepgun...But overall,
it was a nice poll, nice idea too. Rifle made it through the poll
and got first place...like it should.
