Poll 19: Playing, and the Deus Ex soundtrack
Music is a very good way to set a mood--sometimes one wonders if you
should have the option of turning it off. Deus Ex, however, gives
you that option, so did you utilize it or not?

Despot: Option 3, all the way...except I used Modplug Player
to play 'em. Apparently Winamp can play the files too, it plays
too many filetypes already. Can't be too dependant on one thing,
ya know.
Ghandaiah: Personally, I've installed speakers in every room
of my house and wired them all to my PC so that I could hear the
DX tunes 24/7. The very binary code of the .umx files has been embedded
into my brain so well I could recite the songs in ones and zeros.

Actually, honestly, I play most games with the music on. Unless
the music is bad and/or doesn't fit the game, if you ask me, it

atmospheric game. Now if I could only find some way to implement
polka
GayleSaver: Surprisingly many people seem to be in desperate
need of nondigital music at best and of a few weeks away from the
computer at worst.
