Commentary

Despot: The most interesting part of this particular poll is the DX2 forum's popularity: the anticipation of the up-coming game is not surprising, but the amount of people that are taking an active interest instead of merely waiting is indicative of Trends and such.

And the fact that the Hosted Sites got ANY votes is surprising: inactivity prevails. Which is unfortunate--the community ought to take more interest the Mods and other efforts by fellow fans.

Jackie [OTF]: General DX discussion and DX2 ideas and suggestions in first. Makes sense. They’re pretty active, although repetitive, like with that lovely “how do I get on the police boat?” question.

At first I thought the OTF would have a lot of votes, but really, it’s only the bunch of regularly active members that drop by there, so I can see why there’s only about 48 votes. That’s personally my favorite forum. There’s been some real good times, and real good people there.

Ah, and SigTest and Site Comments in last. Poor little forums with their lack of attention. Poor Oi too for, you know, having to be a moderator of such an inactive forum. Wow, those were even beaten out by the FanFic forum. I’d actually expect FanFic to be in last.

King Kashue: The results were no different than I expected...It's obvious what draws people to the forums: Dashing and Mysteriously Powerful Moderators...Digital_Ronin and I are simply far superior to everyone else...Oh yeah, Despot too, but I would suspect that it's more of an "in spite of" instead of a "because of" situtation there...

Can I ask a question? Why in the world did we even include 'Sig Test' and 'Site Comments'...Look how few people voted for those...I've got more people currently hiding out from the police in my basement! And we can see, once again, it all comes back to the moderator... ;)

OiNutter: Okay, people, you are all probably expecting me to pretend to be shocked and enraged at the obvious lack of interest in the wonderful Site Comments and SigTest forums, but I'm not. Why, you ask? Because infact, they did win! These numbers in these statistics can be quite confusing and/or deceiving to the casual viewer. You see, if I were to move this down to here... *starts moving peices of bars* then you will notice that the cosine of the angle opposite the side with the length equal to the greatest number of votes divided by 4 (the number of votes for Site Comments) then you would realize that General Discussion's votes modulous SigTest's votes is the same as Site Comments plus SigTest! AMAZING! *cheesy grin* Oh forget it... Bah! The fewsals don't know quality when they see it.... How did General beat OTF anyway? Hmmm... CONSPIRACY!
