Welcome to the official Deus Ex Fan Mission contest! To celebrate the upcoming release of the Deus Ex Game of the Year edition, ION Storm and Eidos Interactive have teamed up with Intel, Creative Labs, and GameSpy to bring a boatload of great prizes to the three top community Fan Mission authors. Details
A 'Fan Mission' is a user-created file or collection of files that provides gamers with an experience similar to playing the retail version of Deus Ex. Fan Mission authors should make sure they have the latest patches installed, and then use the Software Development Kit provided by ION Storm to build their products. Authors can then submit them to PlanetDeusEx via email (submit@planetdeusex.com). Submissions meeting the guidelines will be accepted from March 5th to May 6th.
Starting May 7th, the Deus Ex team at ION Storm will begin reviewing all submissions. Warren Spector will announce the winners on May 12th while being filmed for an episode of Tech TV's The ScreenSavers, shot in Austin, Texas.
